Noise Impact Assessments for the Dancing Jug, Bournemouth
Attune provided noise impact assessments to the Management of the Dancing Jug across their sites in Bournemouth.
We carried out noise impact assessments for the Bournemouth town centre and the Charminster branches to assist with submissions to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council. We assisted with investigation in to a new branch location. In each case, we have liaised with BCP on behalf of the Client to ensure that the Council’s requirements are being met first time with the scope of works provided.
We:
- Conducted multiple noise surveys.
- Assessed noise from bars during operation, including patrons and music systems.
- Measured sound insulation of the Charminster branch façade and provided advice on improving its performance.
- Reviewed the Client’s noise control management strategies and offered advice where needed.
- Assessed and provided sound reduction specifications for glazing and doors.
- Created a noise map to evaluate the effectiveness of a proposed beer garden structure.
- Delivered comprehensive reports for submission to BCP Council.
Working with the Council and the Client we ensured that the best possible outcomes were achieved in terms of the noise impact on local residents for each site.
