250 City Road Phases 2 and 3

Attune is providing testing services for the last two phases of this London mixed use development.

This expansive London scheme is providing over 500 new homes with associated retail and office spaces. We are providing sound insulation testing to demonstrate compliance with Approved Document Part E, and the client’s own sound insulation requirements over those of the Building Regulations, based on the Code for Sustainable Homes.

We are also providing a full regimen of air-tightness testing across all dwellings and commercial areas.

The project is also BREEAM registered, seeking credits under Hea 05 for internal ambient noise levels in commercial spaces.

Attune is providing the necessary testing to comply with the applicable BREEAM credits.

We have a close working relationship with the Site Managers and Technical Directors to provide regular updates and to manage the need for re-testing where failures have been identified.

The client team has appreciated our innovative approach to management of the project. Our internally developed application allows completed tests to be properly scheduled out. The final pass results for all units and the requirements for retests are all easily provided, allowing the client to suitably monitor the budget for the testing works, and assists with a timely payment application and invoicing process.

All test results for sound insulation and air-tightness testing have been lodged with SITMA and ATTMA, respectively.
