Acoustics and Sustainability
At Attune, we embrace the principles of sustainable building acoustic design as outlined by the Institute of Acoustics.
Our commitment to sustainability is integral to our business operations and ensures we contribute to low-carbon, planet-conscious building design without compromising acoustic quality or user well-being.
Our Approach:
- Integrating Sustainable Practices: We prioritise sustainable materials and energy-efficient methods in all our projects.
- Collaborative Design: We work closely with other disciplines to ensure a holistic approach to building design.
- Client Engagement: We actively engage with clients to explore and implement sustainable options.
- Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs): We understand and use EPDs to inform our material choices and design strategies.
By adhering to these principles, Attune delivers exceptional acoustic solutions that are both environmentally responsible and effective, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and excellence in acoustic design.
Enhance Learning Environments
The basis of our work is the research that is rigorously carried out in the acoustic industry. This research is encapsulated in the various standards and guidance documents that provide the methods and the criteria that we use, day-to-day.

what we do
It can be difficult to explain what a difference in sound levels can mean to a listener, so Attune has created a very simple demonstration of the subjective change in sound levels, using a sample of ‘white noise’.
